Check out Ellies shop in Booysens. Got mine there. When buying batteries, best to spend a bit more and get new ones.

I got the 2x 105ah Ellies ones on a modified sine wave inverter. Havent had one sleepless night. Auto switch over and lasts forever.

Was a good decision to buy that from Quintin

    thanks @rakabos

Quintin has advised to stick to the lead acid type batteries as this invertor seems to be more efficient on it. I have checked the Ellies battery - it is a calcium type battery.

Will keep an eye out for others...and yes, I also want a sleepless night when the power is out...lol

Mantech sells Ritar batteries which are pretty good. They covered by a decent warranty/guarantee..

Glad to see you bought the inverter clownfish, you really wont be dissapointed!!!!
(must be the first item ever that you called dibs on before i could, lol;))

As for the batteries, if you cant get one at a good price, i know a shop here in brits where is stay that gives them to me at cost +10%, but you need to give them an old battery in exchange...
Will find out if they stock the batteries your looking for...

Enjoy the inverter... (now i have to look for another one, lol:blush:)
