Barebottom system photos

    Hi all,

    I'm still planning my system for one day when i'm big ;)
    I struggle to decide between a bb or a substrate system. Can anyone post some pic's of there mature bb systems please :whistling:

    I personally prefer a substrate, just look way better to me! Sorry Mekaeel and the other guys, please don'tkillkangame!

    It all depends on what you want to keep in your tank. For me BB is easy to keep clean.

    One solution is to have 2 tanks 1 BB the other substrate;)

    My tank has a DSB in-tank.... And I am QUITE happy with it.... I just "rake" the top 1cm every now and again - the crap that comes out feeds my corals NICELY!

    I find removing detritus from a BB tank to be much easier.I managed to get my flow to blow most of the detritus to one part of the tank,from there i just syphon all the crap out everytime i do water change.
