Banggai Cardinal Hosting In Anemone.

    Is this normal behavior for them?

    Overall they seem quite content to sit there. More often than not it is at nighttime so I can only assume they do it for protection?

    In fact they do hover in anemones especially when young.

    Mine hangs out under/in my torch coral...

    So we have special cardinals! :thumbup:

    Very interesting!Maybe there is something bothering them that led them to seek protection in the anemone?:)

    Looks like you have a pair and sometimes they will hover over possible homes for their young to hide in like pencil urchin etc

    All of the wild ones I saw in Sulawesi were around anemones.

    They only hang out there sometimes, today I had the camera out and managed to photograph it. The one cardinal is looking a bit darker today and was doing a little 'shudder' every now and then.
    Be interesting if they do decide to spawn. I never really used to like them a whole lot but they the way they flit around the tank is interesting.
