    Hey

About a week ago I baught 3 bangai's from Dorry pets. All three of them are doing great and eating like pigs but the one stays away from the other two and is always in corner or secluded place in the tank. I check daily if it's showing signs of disease or anything but it looks healthy and I check everytime when I feed if it's eating and it does. This has been going on since I put him in the tank. Any reasons why it could be behaving like this?

Bud it is normal behaviour. Even if you put 20 Bangai in a tank they will pair off to breed. If your tank is small, the ousted one may be killed by the dominant male. Best to find it another home or a friend, depending on your tank size.

    It's a 650L tank, 1.8m by 600mm by 600mm

I have bad news for you sir :(

The one hiding away will eventually be bullied to death. I would advise removing him and perhaps taking him back to your LFS

I am not sure what the story is if you add more. Anyone want to comment what will work :whistling:

I wish I could but a 5 hour drive is not a thing I want to do on a sunday:lol:. The reason I took three was to hav ethe best chance to get a male female pair and it seems I got what I wanted. Lanzo's other bangai's are still to small to tell the sex apart for sure and I don't wan't to risk another male in the syste. Will put him for sale soon. Unless if I get a female somewhere...
