    Heyy guys : if i wash my filter wool with fresh water to get some of the dirt out will the bacteria die of?

    Yes
    But there will be enough bacteria in your rocks/substrate so i wouldnt worry about it

    I dont clean it, i throw it away. You not loosing enough bacteria to make a difference

    so the liverock and crushed coral will be enough ? dont whant to lose some valuable bacteria
