2 x 300w heaters + a 2000L pump for my sump for about 6 to 8 hours. I not sure what the wattage of the pump is.

You dont need to run the heaters kathie. The most important part is oxygen which will be enough by running just the return pump.

If you can wait another week, (then I'm back) I can show you my system. It runs a return pump for 6 hours. That's all you need. Tested and it did save my tank on an occasion.

for less than R1500 depending on where you get the pump needed.

Small, compact, no vapours, no noise, lightweight. And can even be used in flats.

I had no power from 7:30AM until 5:00PM or there about - I have a UPS system that does 2400 watts which runs my system including all pumps & lights!

I just run one light & my pumps which lasted the whole day - Also have a generator to run the house if needed.

Winter is coming & I do think we going to see some load shedding so eskom can increase prices again!!!
