    Morning guys

I was hoping that someone could help me with some cleaning info. The tank that I recently bought is acrylic (95% sure lol) and has the back glass sprayed black but it is starting to peel in certain areas and bubble. I would like to clean out all that paint/tint and then decide what I will do with the back glass.

I read on here somewhere that acetone can be used? is this true and will acetone will ok to use on the acrylic?

One last thing guys, does anyone know of a place that makes and sells a back insert piece like the pic below?

    Just as an example.

    Thank you guys!! :cheers2:

Acetone will destroy acrylic - there are not many solvents out there that will remove that paint safely - I would pop into a sign writing business and ask them for something - they must have a specialist product that will fit the bill...
