Was wondering do you still need to use dechlorinater or would you use RO water as is when topping up your tank

    Always RO water.

There are other minerals as well, that the de-chlorinate process will not remove.

I use Aquazania water. They use carbon, reverse osmosis and something else, but they add calcium mag and potassium in small doses . My wife has the taste buds of a SPS coral. She tests it for me. Lol

So going along stable, going slowly this time. Got 3 small clowns , a red tooth , fix face , and diamond back that I want to euthenise. Had four clowns but one just disappeared ????
Really want the clowns to inhabit the elegance coral

You do not want the clowns to take to the elegance. They will eventually cause its demise.

They will literally host it to death. LPS and clowns hosting it is not good news for the LPS. Especially as the clowns grow bigger.

    No, anemones are not LPS.

Risk losing the elegance. Rather hope they do not host in it.

Okay , so two of my clowns got sushi 'd by my mp40, so moved the surviving two into my small tank which has a healthy bubble tip. Couldn't work out what happened to the first one that disappeared , find the second one today I the mp40 .

The problem with lps, if you look under the big fleshy polyps, it looks like a bunch of knives developed by calcium carbonate. If the fleshy polyps rub too much against that base, they will get cut, infection usually results in brown jelly disease and then it's gone.
Clownfish when hosting can be quite aggressive about pushing downward, and dive bombing the hosted which does exactly the above.

IMG_4423.JPG Journal update, star date 2136. All corals removed to cube . FOLR / quarantine till I hopefully move in two months. All that remains in a fix face , red tooth trigger and a diamond back. Looking after the cube is enough work. Saw a awesome clown trigger today, really tempting. What can go into a FOLR tank , just live rock ?
