Thanx Tobes ;) . I was at Frans on friday and said he will let me know.

Onyx are rare in SA. Frans said he is getting a shipment from Australia soon.

    Regards

Clown - I was lucky enough to get 2 of these little fella's from a LFS in Parow (not a sponsor). BUT, I have never seen them in any LFS again......

I paid R200 per clown - they were advertised for R225 each though.... In the US, they sell for $79 (ex TAX) per fish - or $149 per pair (ex tax).....

So - I guess that I was still "lucky" with these prices......

LOL Atilla - "deja vu" hey! ;)

And these little okes are now in my DT! They sure do grow VERY VERY slowly though!

I have had them for 6 months now, and they have barely grown a centimeter each......

    I would also not mind.

I think if there is a lot of interest on them then it can be cheap of importing a few of them. Frans, lanzo can maybe help us.

How many masa friends would be interested to buy a pair?

Let make a list of who want and then we can give it to Frans and see what he can do.

PM me if you are interested and I will make a list.

    (just a suggestion).

I am trying to get them for almost a year.
Now that I have met Lanzo and Frans, I'm confident to get them.
And after I saw them in the tank from the other "lucky fish", I want them even more.
To see a picture is on thing, but to see them in real life, that's something special.
The Onyx is worldwide a good seller. When you stand in front of them, then you know why. Personaly, one of my favourite clowns!

I am with marcel on this one, one of the finest looking clown around, prefer them to Picasso, they look like they are wearing pyjamas!

Depending on the picasso. From all pictures of picassos I've seen, there are only a handful really stunning fish. The rest is a bit unfinished.
Also misbarred ocellaris can be very stunning.
I like unique fish. Picassos are also sort of misbarred.
They need plenty of black to look stunning.
