    Hey everyone,

Just incase you haven't noticed yet, there is a new way to sell and buy stuff on the forum by using auctions. These auctions can be accessed on any page on the forums by clicking on the vBay button on the top of the screen. Here's a pic of what it looks like:

Only problem is that items added to the auction part do not caome up under the link for "New Posts" - under your avatar on home page. That is what I used to see all new threads and comments given since I last logged on. Even the For Sale stuff is displayed, and the jokes.

Viper, please add auction items there as well.

Now that I look at the auction section again, I realized that I actually want to know where the seller is situated. I think you need to make it compulsery for the seller to include his town/city next to the description.

I'm sure there was a mistake, you are supposed to put the buy it now price really high.

Well you could put it wherever but it would be pointless for anyone to bid higher than it...

The biggest thing i still see missing is sellers need to add the location of where the goods are. No point really in bidding on say a zoa colony if ure in Jhb and the guy is in Cape town, with no way of knowing it.

Something I'm still confused about because people are still doing it. When you select to auction something and sell it now, please put the sell it now price higher. Lets say you want to sell a fish for R1000, set the auction price to R500, set the sell it now price to R1200 and set the reserve to R1000. There is no point having an auction of the fish for R1200 if the sell it now price is the same.

Could we make it that it is a WYSIWYG auction. The photo should be of the actual item. In the case of frags a pic of the frag should be there and not the mother colony. If you have multiple frags then make separate auctions for each one even if they are the same type of coral or similar size frag, unless you sell all the frags in the pic together. I know this sounds like a lot of work but people would like to know exactly what they bid on.

One thing I have noticed is that the categories dont seem to work.

When i click on any of the categories, all the auctions come up, not just the auctions for that category.

How are the auctions going guys?

I know the software is very limited and has a few quirks, but it's all that is available unfortunately.
