Any thoughts on this skimmer? apparently I'm the very first owner of one in SA, very impressive grid impeller, will be installing it soon, but skims tap water like a beast.

im afraid i know of a few others who have this beast on their tanks, but dont let that bother you its an excelent skimmer :)

ive got the ati 250i on at the moment and it has some wonderful aspects to it and Im very happy although there are some small issues i have with its make up.

good skimmers and beautifully engineered, looking forward to seeing urs up and going propperly
    :)

naggg dont feel like that fella, its a good skimmer, plug it in and write the expoerinece ioff to lack of research....next time you'll look around better.

im in Norway so not SA, but the service i recieved to get my skimmer from sewatec was top, the packaging great and i am sure they would send to darkest africa too.

enjoy the skimmer mate, it makes great bubbles :)

Great skimmer, i also have the ATI 250 and am very happy with it, please post pics when this beast is running. Dont feel bad about the price you paid, although you may have paid more you have back up in SA. If you buy online and anything goes wrong you will have to send it back to the original company you bought it from, this could work out very expensive from SA.

lol sorry fella, im just pointing out some of the excelent features of a sponsor that we dont often see on here:) To be honest if id brought that skimmer new id be phoning the guy you got it for and ask him a few pointed questions.

but as i said earlier, skip the buyers remorse and fire that thing up to your tank, after a few months of it pulling DOC out the system and you see the algae dropping, the sps couloring up and the water quality improving you wont be worrying about what you paid for it, youll simply be glad you have it :)
