Okey guys, I have a weird question, but YES, I am actually serious. :)

Because I work with this every day of my life, I needed to think about what to do with my ashes when I die. So, I told my wife I am going to specify in my will that my ashes be mixed into my tank DSB. In that way, I can still do something for the tank...

Hahahaha... How funny is that? But seriously, do you guys think it would have a negative impact on the tank should one do that? Would it cause a bio load, or act as a nice bacteria medium?

She must just rinse you thouroughly with RO, then tank water. She also need to run phos remover incase you decide to leach phos

Nope seriously, all food in you will be gone... Doubt if there will be any bacteria in your ashes.

You might leach some stuff. I'm not an ashes expert. But I think their might be more beneficial minerals left over in your ashes.

It all depends if you had some really hot Indian Curry as your last meal... But then again, even your cremation might be a problem.

Just ask her to put you deep under the DSB, else you will wash away to quickly.

Knowing what I put into my body it I don't think I'd want Brandy and Coke to leach into my tank. ;)

So you will become just some more substrate the bacteria in the DSB can cling to.

I watched nip tuck the other night, and some girl who was having an affair with a married guy, stole his ashes, and asked for them to be placed inside her implants, because the husband was always in there playing with her breasts.

Why be cremated when you could just be put in blender with "other" frozen sea foods and then be fed to your pets..... or you could be donated to someone's dsb to kick start their dsb ... seriously we all wiered on this forum.....

My ashes will be scattered over the sea - somewhere in the deep-sea..... That I can forever "SCUBA in places I have never been!" ;)
