Ew. I'd rather have plain LR than ridiculous looking fake coral. Not to mention the fact that it gets covered in algae and looks even more stupid after a few weeks. You can keep macroalgae with butterflies if you want more life in the tank.

Yes, i also saw it first time in Fish Tank Kings, but then again will it not be an issue to keep them "clean"?

I was just thinking about it but don't think I will easily make that change. (Although with our currency that just getting worse and corals getting more expensive it might become an option).

if i had a FOWLR i would def use it, it has its place for tanks that dont get alot of maintenance, eg shops etc, or shark and octo tanks

The whole point of having corals is to see it grow like your fish. Pamper it like children. The passion behind it. Why even bother otherwise?

Yup Dallas. South Africa has a very good international manufacture of synthetic reefs and corals.

Definitely a place for artificial corals and reefs within reefkeeping. it is not all about SPS and zoo's

Thanks for the punt bud. so why not?.....

    No i don't sell them...:whistling:

The Whole point of keeping a tank is interpretant of what the owner wants and the longevity of the inhabitants.

Reef and stick tanks suck IMO. Fish is what it is about...:) Why would anyone want to grow corals when they are passionate about fish? :yeahdude:

Fake coral is the Justin Bieber of the marine world. It's like this in tank form:

Then why do you have an sps tank if sps tanks suck? Imo think before you post.

I have a FOWLR tank. And i got some fake coral for Christmas And I added the fake coral. It gave my tank some color and something else to look at.

To be honest i'm thinking of getting some more.
