    Hey Guys!
Finally, I could get some pics of my recently started tank:thumbup:. The DT is 300L and sump is 100L. 20 Kg Live Rock and 10 Kg live base rock. I used some rock as well as 100L water from my previous system. So far it's looking good. Seachem Stability and Prodac Nitridac was dosed in the tank so far, and the system is 2 weeks old.

looking great why the ceramic rings and sponge in the overflow?
you do know that it will lead to lots of Nitrate?

Thanx! Yep I know that... I read on a forum that it allows you to add more bioload... I'm not so much worried about Nitrates, thats sorted. I will probably take them out. For now I just need it to do it's job, break down. The sponge is there to reduce noise:). It's in my bedroom.

good start looking forward to regular updates.. it will take some time to finetune the smaller things like the noise in the overflow but you will learn how to tweak these little things as you go along..

lovely looking tank to start with, nice scaping too, excelent for fish:) id suggest taking the overflow noodles and sponges out over time (well after the cycle really) and replace it with a durso, it will keep your maintenace down and make the tank much easier to handle. Id also sugest putting abs sheeting over the overflow so that its not such a visable part of the tank.

love the simplicity of your sump and thats a lovely light unit :)

oh, on the ceramics in the overflow, like the other guys suggested, remove them and install a durso if the noise is bugging you. Which area are you in?

Looking good bro, jus if I may...... remove the bioballs an foam from overflow chamber, its a nitrate factory in the making. An yes, when you remove it, its going to be a bit noisy,so then add a durso to quiet it up,trust me,less maintanance an less chance of high nitrates
