Has anyone used Seachem Pearl Beach aragonite, is it as good as say Carabsea Special seafloor grade?

they are all the same, they cover the tank base... its personal preference, and sometimes it can govern the lifestock we want to keep.
Was thinking about it being blown around as believe it is quite fine
i have sugar fine carib sea araganite, and it is supurb, bin using it for years!
its alot denser than normal play sand. so blowing around is not an issue. it will however move if you have really strong powerheads blowing against your glass causing a downward movement of water. but i suspect this would happen with all types of substrates.
in time it does compact somewhat, making it excellect at holding your LR in place.
remember to give it a proper wash before putting it into your tank!
Thanks Furbz, will do so.
also no problem with my caribsea. love it!
If you plan on adding sandsifting gobies then go for a more coarse grain. Sugarfine can be a pain with constant sandstorms when having these fish.
Try aquaria's new sand
