Hey, Get 1 bag of caribsea seafloor grade. Its a 16 or 18kg bag. That should be more than enough. You could also get a 13kg bag of sugar fine from caribsea but that tends to get blown around easy

Yes but the sugar fine prevents detritus to go beneith the surface and that is good.

Sea floor grade is like a size bigger than sugar fine. There are like 6kg bags of that

    I'd say 1 or 2 bags...

The advantage of the Seafloor grade is that it's heavier and doesn't get blown around too much by pumps.

ok cool, first problem i just found is that my LFS doesn't stock aragonite. only the stuff for reactors. so ill have to ship in from somewhere which will pump the price up. either i bite the bullet and get it shipped or i use very finely ground coral, similar to seafloor grade aragonite.

you have a small tank, a 18kg bag of seafloor grade should be more than enough. I would say rather go for the small bag

the bags will have directions.. you can actually just dump it in the tank and the skimmer will sort it out. The water will be cloudy for a day or two. I rinsed the aragonite in ro prior to putting it in the tank but you dont have to do that
