Hi. New to your site, but where better to go when you share a common interest. I have fresh-water aquarium snails that are laying eggs - every single day. And now the little-ones have made their presence felt. They are too cute. But I need to sell them, or be overtaken by snails. Is there possibly an interested party (in Pretoria) willing to buy them from me? Trust me, I think I will be able to supply for the rest of time!!

It is illegal to trade in freshwater snails. Have a look at the black lists etc on TASA.

The best fish to take care of fresh water snails, as far as i know is clown loaches(if your tank is big enough for them).

On the same subject, what is the best way to control snails in a marine tank?

i had the same issue when i had a fresh water tank. they become a nightmare after a while as they breed at an insane rate. they become more a pest. i had to drain all water and boil the stones to get rid of them.

They're a pest. I don't know of anyone who would willingly pay to put them in their tank even if it were legal to sell them.
