Now I’m sure you would like to see some pictures…….. So here we go Reefers …here are pictures from the start build to date……..and many more to follow as we progress with this aquarium…
[IMG] and so we were given the built base to start building the Aquarium...
[IMG] wooden shutter board and 20mm polystyrene for our base glass to be placed on....

[IMG] As always levels are critical......

[IMG] And next the sides of the aquarium...

Now this was going to be a interesting build as the sump filtration was going to be down stairs in a separate room allocated for the filtration of the Aquarium....so this meant all power cables would need to be run from below as well as the plumbing of the aquarium....

[IMG] the cables were pulled and the pipe work was connected....

[IMG] all cabling sealed for protection from the moister.....

    much more pic's to follow....

[IMG] We chose a large Electrical DB box to accommodate all the necessary switches and timers...but most important of all was it had to be a SPLASH PROOF DB box..

[IMG] then the trunking and DB were mounted along with the other equipment...and the connecting of the cables and equiptment started...

[IMG] as with all our installations we strive for everything to be neat labeled and user friendly...

[IMG] then came the hanging of the lighting hoods and the wiring up of the them as well...

[IMG] our RO Unit installed with solenoid valve for our auto top up....

    [IMG] reservoir for RO water..

[IMG] fitted with float switch for the RO solenoid vavle....

[IMG] then we installed the return pumps....
