    Hi all

I have just replaced the santoprene tube on my AM SP3000 dosing pump, any idea what grease/lubricant I could use for this tube?

    Thanks.

How about silicone grease? I use it on O ring seals of my underwater camera

I think either would be fine. Ive used vaseline it worked well, but silicon grease might be even better.

Jip - you're right - I use silicone grease on my diving gear - it IS expensive! BUT lasts a VERY long time though! ;-)

Thing is I only need a small amount of it and I have only seen it for sale in big tubes, it would be a waste. Vaseline for me

You should not use silicone grease on silicone rubber components (like is not compatible with like when it comes to greases and components they are used on).

So if your tubing/diving gear is not silicone based then go for it.
