Yes, at last, my cleanup crew has arrived  Will email you, thanks.

Picked up my first batch of Reefgrazers from the airport last night, Thank you Liaquat.

Literally 10 seconds after I put the Dwarf Hermit crabs into my tank I noticed they started to nibble at the bits of furry algae on my rocks

...told you so!

See?

THAT'S why Dragonreef NEVER let you get any from him .

Anthony could NEVER part with my 'Hobbit crabs...'

Enjoy them.
You gonna want at least 50 more soon , soon.

How are Ror's few fish?

LR 120kg's +/-

currently have
+/- 10 turban snails
+/- 15 dwarf hermits
+/- 5 hermits
3 bristle stars in display

What else do I need..shrimps...snails...hermits...stars.....price?

Ah, ok..

So, you managed to get around to stocking more grazers yet?

First, add more suitable ReefGrazer snails.
I'd add about 15more.

NEXT month, after snails have established , add another 5 ReefSafe Hermits, or 10 DHC.

Smooth serpent stars are SAFER grazers than brittlestars (spiky).
You'd only need 2 in total anyway.
maybe, none at all.

pm sent with pricing info

PS have a good trip to Mozambique

Red Legs

Warren,
After a long time sourcing, and comparing species of reef goggas:lol:

I've found PLENTY Hermits, called by that name.

I advise, you have something, as food , for your present hermits to clean, forage , graze on OR they/NEW hermits will fight over food and raid snails/each other as a FOOD SOURCE , COMPETITOR, or NEW SHELL provider.l

Present, relatively reefsafe 'redleg hermits', are from Baja/Mexico, and Atlantic- Caribbean.

They'd be the P cadenati, Calcinus , Ciliopagurus and Clibanarius spp.

OTHER Importers in THIS country only get 2 of the USA/Mexico spp, maybe 4-5 times annually.

I, on the other hand, find the DHC, from the Atlantic/Caribbean and Cape Verde' Islands to be even better than the world's "famous redlegs".

They remain smaller, eat undesirable algae, detritus, more aggressively and pose very little threat to ANY other invert/coral/fish species.

So, wait a bit.
Stock up with safe levels of either coral, fish.
Add a few more snails, to establish grazing pattern, and THEN go for more hermits.

Select from species AQuality has listed.
