    Hi guys

Lately I've noticed that when my sump water level drops and engages the AM ATO, it runs in reverse(Anti-clockwise) and never changes direction in order to do the top-up. I have to manually lift the float switch a couple of times before it changes to the right direction(clockwise).

Is there any way to make sure it only turns clockwise?

I dose kalk as well. The ATO outlet goes to a DIY kalk unit which then goes to the sump. I actually just replaced the tube inside the unit since it was a little worn out.

No, the wheel with the rollers are running anti-clockwise, meaning it's trying to push water back to the RO drum. In reality it can push water in either direction, it's always done it clockwise.. now I battle to keep it going that way.

Not really. The pipe that goes to the Kalk reactor is slightly higher than the water level, so no water can go back up.

Those peristaltic pumps are nice, but I had so much trouble with mine I eventually replaced it with a diaphragm pressure pump. It works great.

You've probably got the SP3000 dosing pump, I had one, I threw it away after many days of fighting with it. Its a 220v pump btw.

Correct Viper. It's driving me up the wall now. Every morning I have to check the water level and as usual the damn thing is going the wrong way. Murphy's law will dictate that if I swap the inlet and outlet pipes around it will again change direction and not work.. I'm very close to taking a very large hammer to this thing.
