    Hi Guys

Please help with an ID on the brown polyp, is it Aptasia or Palythoa?

Also an ID on the Macro algae would be appreciated?

Just remove the aiptasia with care or it may release spores into the water. If it aint attached to the Caulerpa then no problem just put that back in the sump and keep an eye out for the little buggers that may pop up. I use Aiptasia X to rid my tank with great effect

Caulerpa, some guys like them, I do not. Reason is that they do have a runner with roots, that will and could attached itself into your liverock. One day it could spread to your display and once on your rocks, its not that easy to get it out. If it does, get it out as soon as possible.

Cheato does the same job as caulerpa. Although Caulerpa do grow like mad. You can start of with a small cheato ball and it will grow larger over time. To "harvest" you just break off some and give it to a fellow reefer or throw it away.
