Hi, just wanted to introduce myself, I am a Capetonian that is a proud owner of a 600x600x500 cube with a 50x50x30 sump.. has been running since mid January 2008 so still maturing/growing up .. have 14kg of rock (combination of Bio and Malaysian), running BB, with DSB and chaeto in sump with TS1 .. in display flow 1xm820 and 1xm1100 ..
Lights exists of T5's at the moment (possibly going to 150w MH .. will see)
Currently FOWLR but looking to add a few softies soon ..
I am sure that I have left something off my system decription, just shout if you have a question ;) ..

Hi Shrimp! Welcome to MASA! Thank you for joining! Seems like you have your tank ALL perfectly set up already!

What live stock do you have in the tank already? Hermits? Shrimps? OR none?

What have you used to cycle your tank with?

BTW: We are all PICTURE freaks here - so, please post some piccies! ;-)

Many thanks.

You can either use PhotoBucket, or use our own built-in photo-software. Click on "Advanced" at the bottom of the "Quick Reply" window, and then click on the bottom right "Quick Upload"....

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to seeing some pics.

Mushrooms are a good soft coral to start with, many different variations and colours.

That's a nice start. keep us updated as you go along.

One thing I would do is move the heater from the return chamber and put it in the skimmer chamber if it will fit. Just in case one day you forget to top up and the water level drops to the heater, it will overheat and explode. It's just one less thing to worry about :)
