Hi everybody, is anybody running a Jebao DC 1200 pump? I am looking for a replacement return pump for my nano tank. unfortunately I am plagued by a very small return chamber (70mm x 70mm) I am hoping somebody could measure the distance in the attached image for me before I pull the trigger (I will need to modify the pump by cutting down the intake pipe). Thanks in advance!

Hi Peter if you looking for a replacement pump for a red sea max nano this will work, i have 1 on my tank, you just need to cut the inlet part out

Thanks for the feedback, its actually for a tank I built myself.. (dumb me for making such a small return chamber) but I will see if I can find the dimensions for a RSM nano for comparison :m106:

Looks like 72mm to my eye - DC1200 but the blue one - locally they haven't stocked these smaller pumps for a long time. Total length 92mm not the 100mm in your pic.

Thanks for the info @2una

So.... unfotunately the Jebao won't fit even with modification. I did manage to find a Waterhouse 600lph that will tide me over in the meantime. Open to any suggestions or bright ideas on a better option.

Are those Waterhouse pumps ok for marine? If your tank is still in the early stages I would reconfigure the sump. The tank will be fine for a couple days

They say on the packaging suitable for saltwater aquarium... but I noticed it has a stainless steel impellar shaft not ceramic... so definately not a long term solution.

I have considered modifying the sump... but eish it will be a serious process as everything is bonded acrylic

Saw locally this one the other day that looks like it would fit + less the metal screws, 72H x 38W x 62D
