Seriously don't waste your money on crazy glue that is labelled coral glue. Cyanoacrylate glue is the same stuff except they place a label on it and call it coral glue. I have been using the thick gel cyanoacrylate glue for years with no side effects. Google this and you will see that they are in fact identical. Hope this helps and saves you all a ton of money.

Sorry may of jumped the gun upon reading this again over here in North America there is a company who markets crazy glue as marine glue and that what I thought of right away. Then upon googling marine glue there are a ton of hits so unless it is cyanoacrylate then please post a link.

I was recently talking to a seachem rep. and asked him if they had any plans to bring out a coral glue/putty. We got into a conversation about it and he said all the stuff currently on the market is the same stuff that you get from the hardware store just re labeled and with 50% price stuck on top.

Are you perhaps talking about marine silicone?

No, you can use superglue gell or superglue from two little fishes, seachem etc, they all contain cyanoacrylate, you can even use partly steel putty or quick set putty but not the marine silicone or other glues for live coral.

Superglue ,.... Silicon needs to dry for 24 hours before coming in contact with water

It might have similar ingredients but they make it less viscous so that it doesn't flow freely in water. It also hardens slower under water.
