Howzit guys i need some help, I just bought two colonies of these birds nests, How high should they be under 250W halides? they came from under 150W, also my flow isn't very high due to my LPS population, will this affect them negatively? Are they generally hardy or more of the sensitive type?
    Thanks

i was thinking that but i placed one on the sand and the other about 50cm from the halides, they mounted kinda high above the tank, i'll see how the higher 1 does, just don't want to lose them, was hard enough finding sps to buy dude, thanks for the help

I agree with lIghty about the lighting.

WRT flow, give them as much flow as you can - not direct flow but random flow

    Hey Diveshan

The way i see it (and im no pro on SPS) your lighting is good enough, but like the other guys have said start them off a bit lower for now and gradually move them higher to a point where there is good flow and then as long as your parameters
are all in check ( Ca,Kh,Mg ect) they should do just fine. The one i have is under T5s and is doing just fine.
