Got a question for all you learned folk.

My wifes brother was killed in a car accident just before xmas, now his family is busy dealing with his pension etc.

The thing is he didn't nominate any beneficiaries on his pension, what would happen in a case like this, who does his pension now go to?

First his wife, then his children, then his parents, then his relative depends on his marital contract. Well, this is what I have heard. Condolences to the wife

Hell no!!!! Even if it was a million I wouldn't take a single cent if they offered it to me, they would hold it against me for the rest of my life.:p

Viper - have you gotten the answers that you wanted? My wife's youngest brother also died on the 22nd of November 2008.
She knows a LOT about this stuff, by now.... so, I can ask her if you want?
