    Hi guys.
I Noticed this little guy a little while back purely by chance. He fluoresced under blue light. In the new tank he's opened up a bit more. Any idea what it could be?

Sorry best pics it's about the size of a 10c open

Looks like a mushroom. Is it a solid brown disk with green neon stripes? With a light brownish center?

If so, Congrats its a watermelon mushroom!

    Nice freebie.

Will try get better pics. Was wrong about the size actually only about the size of a 10c. Its on a piece of coral I've had for ages, previously also had Zoa. @TaahirS if it was Majano wouldn't it have spread by now? Arent they worse than Aptasia?

it is not a mojano. But a sort of small anemone.

I have a zoa rock where I lost all the zoa's and had something similar, mine turned out to be a plate coral. Does urs have any form of tentacles. Can't really see in the pic

Don't have a good enough camera or the skills to get anything better.
It is really pretty small. Looks more like a polyp or anemone. I tried to move it to get a better look and it closed up a bit.

How small did yours start out? The fringe seems to have little tentacles almost like the edge of a zoa

They start very small. They attached to a stalk. I thought it was some sort of anemone until I bumped it. Could feel a skeleton. Later on I was cleaning and bumped it off the stalk. That one now is about 8cm in diameters. The one in the pic grew from the stalk

They get huge. And the awesome part, once it falls off and get knocked off, another one will grow. Mate and I bought zoa colonies from the same place about two years ago. He also got a play coral on his. I different color to mine. When his one came off the stalk. The stalk grew 4 babies
