Anybody spot any electronic or battery operated salinity water testers at any of the marine dealers in South Africa (JHB would be even better) or am I forced to import.

I see pricing for these meters are pretty low but no reason for not supporting a dealer if we have stock in South Africa.

Hi Butcherman - to answer your question

    1. They are easier to use that other methods.
    2. They are cheap and available
    3. I mix my own saltwater - quick, easy accurate reading
    4. Always choose the route of least resistance

In all honesty when mixing saltwater daily, getting a quick reading makes live a little easier. This does not mean that they are as accurate as other methods

Wow that is a big difference, even with custom fees and profits it seems that the local commissions are a little higher than what the product is worth ?

    Hi Quinton,

Please send me the link again - with no dealers replying I suppose I have to support the overseas market instead
