It's ultra uncommon guys, but maybe a good idea for us to was our hands with an antibacterial hand wash after fiddling in our tanks!

I know of a patient who died after stabbing himself while cleaning prawns. He developed severe cellulitis that rapidly extended up his arm and chest. He died from it within 3 days. The pus swabs cultured a marine organism. I think it was marinarum. Not an aquarium but still handling marine animals.

Yip, I do it religiously, but always worried when I have to start a siphon with my mouth, never quite got the hang of it.

Why is the guys knee in his tank?

Washing your hands with soap can prevent you from introducing bacteria into your own tank. But that's it. Just make sure you rinse ultra good.
