I blame Slagter and Singularity for me coming over to SW!

I've been keeping FW for about 2 years now and fishkeeping has lost my interest so I thought i'd try out the saltwater side

    I'll be using this tank
    [IMG]

120X60HX45W with a corner overflow into a 3ft wide sump with a Real Ocean 8X39W T5 unit. Biggest problem so far has been the stand. Its a 500 high stand, leaving on 400 high for a skimmer.

Thats where George came in. :) Busy ordering a Tunze 9211 Classic skimmer

Welcome to MASA, glad you joined. I have some nice info for you on how to start your first marine tank. Check in my signature ;)
Good luck setting up the tank and keep us updated. Don't be shy to throw your questions our way :)

Thanks Tobes. Been doing reading on Marine setups for a couple of months now , but i'm sure i've got a lot more to learn.

Tank is going to be a softie/Zoa tank. Haven't decided on fish yet though, would love a CB and blue throat trigger. Know that the CB needs a constant supply of pods and a mature tank. Think the tank is too small for a Blue throat

    Thanks for the welcome guys!

Definitely a softie/Zoa tank. loving Star polyps, Pulsing Xenia and the weird and trippy colours of Zoas. In terms of fish, will probably have to get a Percula or 2 to keep the wife happy, but after that i'm a bit lost

Would love a Tang or 2 (Loving Kole and Orange Shoulder) but i'm pretty sure they'll be too big for such a small tank. Are there any small schooling fish? Like tetras in FW
