Another lionfish...What specie of lionfish is this?

    We just caught this lionfish in the same tidal pool we caught the other one. This one is darker, more red and the fins are a bit wider.

    Hi Bonsai. Yes these are stunning fish. If you are keeping it, just remember that they'll only eat live foods being the voracious predators that they are. You'll be able to feed them guppies and such from your lfs. You'll need to balance that with some glass shrimp etc once in a while. Oh, and don't keep them with any tank mates smaller or the same size as they are, not forgetting that they grow extremly quickly.
