IT'S that time again of the year were i disappear into Africa to explore the fishing grounds in Angola.
Since the end of the war Angola was rediscovered as the last out post for the best angling destiny in AFRICA (for the brave). This is how angling was 100years ago unspoiled.
But Angola is growing fast and it wont be long before all those small fishing villages is going to start there slaughter.Remember this is Africa and most of the people live just for to day.
I'm back in two weeks with lots of pic.

    go light! have fun.

i am very envious its some of the worlds best shore front fly rodding and esturine fishing. i do hope you get bend double by a GT, if he does pick you up on a 10 weight the bend in your rod wont be concerning you, its the bend in your back trying to keep your feet that will :)

have a great trip and enjoy the swamps to, lots of pics please.

oh and i'd leave your daughter behind, you dont want her outfishing you again :)

lol sean i have a mate that was kite fishing off santa maria point near inhaca island when he was picked up on live bait by a GT. he is a light weight fella (around 60kg) and it was the scream and parrellel knee tracks down the beach as this thing made off for the bricks that had us running and laughing.

fish got to the rocks though, but was a surface take and we could see its back. lots of laughter.....mate was religated to blacktail fishing and bait catching which didnt amuse him at all :)
