    this was my angel i have sold it to steven (flapie)
    He is almost redy now to go in the main tank
    He is 25cm long and 14cm wide
    He was send with over 20L (24.2kg) water to the cape

    Um just less than 2 years but he is very big cuase he spend all his life in my 2.2m tank so his growth rate has been more natural he is 17.5 cm small. I recon about a few months away from full colour change

    My emp is about 12.5cm, the top is definatly changing in the last two weeks, but surely it should grow much more for adult colours

    Awsome never seen the colour change documented like that befor the last pic is kinda where mine is now.

    See I have this theory that angels that are kept in captivity and specialy in smaller tanks will have full color change when even small compared to those fish in bigger tanks or even in the wild. My reason for thinking this is that I believe the color change has more to do with age than size and so a Emp that is 6 years old but has grown up in a 1.2 will have full colors but only be 13cm in size where as another Emp in a tank twice that size would be at 15cm+ only have half color and olso only be 4 years old which is more natural IMO. I have seen a few full adult Emp's that are in the 13cm range and also even smaller which buggs me
