I added a bta to my current setup which has 2 magnificent anemones yesterday.

This morning the bta and smaller magnificent were touching. I then seperated the bta this morning and put him in a basket.

The 2 magnificents are sulking and have turned a very dark cokour compared to normal. I think this might be due to toxin from the bta.

I have removed the bta and put him in a bucket with a pump and airstone to seperate from main tank.

I am running some extra carbon Brightwell carbonit x3 and want to do a 30% water change tomorrow morning when i can create enough water and prep it sufficiently.

    Any other advice?

Need to sell the bta also

I've heard mixing species of nennies can be a problem.

I only have Bta in my tank.
For the very reason that I've heard having different nennies in the tank can be deadly.
    Hope they're ok.

What is the size of your tank?

    Do you run carbon?

Different species of anemones will have a chemical warfare against each other. Bigger tanks and carbon helps.

Its a 250l tank, i am running carbon.

I think the tank is too small for multiple species.

The other concern was they were touching which probably made things worse
