It most probably is...I just saw on another Thread that, up and until about 2 months ago, this Tank was empty...so it's a brand spanking new tank...

You can't have a Nennie in a new Tank...the "norm" is 9Months..lastmonth you were still talking about you'r Tank Cycling...the Tank has to settle first...as you don't have a picture of the Nennie..is it safe to assume we are talking about the Local "Plum Nennie"...?

Ok I just saw you'r picture...so it's not the plum...have you still got the plum nennie..regardless of the new Tank..I'm also asking as you might have a "Chemical war" going on between the two...then I would sump the one for now...

Never a good idea for a first addition, what is the flow like in the tank and what is the PH in the system and what lighting have you got?

Nooo dont sump a nennie, way too many gadgets to get cought up on....heaters, pumps etc. Way too soon for any chemical warfare.

the tank is to new for a nennie.

    however...
i had a very healthly nennie that used to deflate every now and then to "purge" its self.
only 1 entrance, also used as an exit.

it woulds be deflated for around 30min and then inflat as normal.

Is there not someone with a more mature tank to look after it... :(

I have seen on other Threads that you can keep a Nennie in a new Tank..but you REALLY have to know you'r stuff...Trust me, it's not advised, but purely out of necessity if there is no other place for the Nennie to go...I personally wouldn't even consider all that stress...

From what I understand you can get some Seachem stability(or whichever you prefer) and dose according to manufacturer specs on the bottle..to help you get the water to a more stable level to help you'r Nennie...

Then you most likely have to "nennie Proof" you'r Tank..Cover all the flow pumps..don't want it walking into a powerhead and get minced..their juice is toxic and can wipe out you'r Tank...I do stand corrected on the "level" of Toxidity...

Then the most important is you'r Lights...what lighting do you currently have...

Feeding I'm not to clued up on...think every 2nd day or so, small pieces..The Experts will definately be able to help you...and correct me if I've given you some wrong advice...:p

Any chance that you could exchange it at the LFS...?
