Howdy all,

I have had this little (not so little anymore) hitchhiker for over a year now. Started out as a small green dot on a piece of live rock and has grown into what looks like some type of anemone. Its about 5cm and seems to grow the more I feed it. It has never moved from the original place so I'm not sure what it is. It has some really nice patterns and has not multiplied like majano or aptasia. I have googled green anemones and various other green hitch hikers but so far nothing pops.

Looks like it could be a Heliofungia LPS coral. What happens if you irritate the tentacles? What does it look like closed?

I haven't seen it ball up in a while. The tentacles pull in and the body slightly shrinks when it gets irritated ( that's what happened when the rock fell over) when I feed him he grabs the food, then the tentacles also pulls in a bit. I will take another pic tonight when I feed him
