Here is my husband's 6ft... I now call him 'The Neat Reefer'... arguably the neatest sump you'll find in SA;)

We have had so much fun together with DIY on this sump! All cords run through trunking, and we built a controll box to neaten plugs and keep them away from wate, complete with temp controller peeking neatly through the side. It's also the most quiet system I have ever seen/heard:thumbup:

Cutest refugium which we are still working on, and a virtually silent Red Devil skimmer.

    Here are some pics! Enjoy!:tt2:

Hi guys. Thanks for the comments. Im reeferswife husband. She really supports me in this hobby. She has more time than I do to make posts hence her starting this thread.

Leslie its the same unit as yours. The sr260 900 mm unit. It is on a 6ft tank and the light spread is unbelievable. Had it in a 1.2 m before but wanted to upgrade because of my tangs. The sides of the tank are very well lit and I've got a finger leather on one side thriving and on the right side a pagoda which also seems to be doing well.

THANKS again for the comments guys. Will post some more pics later.

    cheers for now

Hi Ricky. It is a shallow sand bed. Not deep at all. Only 3 cm. For aesthetic s really and a little aerobic activity.
