AM skimmer pump

Hi Guys,
A friend of mine has an old AM turbo flotor 1000 skimmer that came with a aquabee 2000 l/hour pump,but the pump is giving him a bit of trouble now. I was wandering what other brand of pump to use for this skimmer and where to get it from. Is it possible to improve on the performance of this skimmer as well?

Shane, why dont you check with SeanH at Northlands, he will advise you what pump to fit on.

THe OR 2500 works very well had one on mine

OR2500 is the better option but you could substitite with a pump that is used on the reefocto skimmers..(hailea with needle wheel)
