    Hi Warr - I have been looking for such a magnet/scraper for a VERY long time.... BUT alas.... could not find anything anywhere...

    Ain't Northlands big into AM. Maybe they get some ordered for us all.

    Don't bother with the scraper, you can never get replacement blades.

    Have tried for months, but no luck. Works out cheaper if you use stanly blades.

    I use the blade mention at present, just thought it might be easier with this mag boy. But if you can't get replacements then a waste of money :p

    Maybe when I am overseas later this year, I'll see if I can pick up a shit load of replacement blades with the mag. cleaner.

    Well I tried Northlands many many time and all I get is "we will call you back"

    Sure the blades can be imported easily from the UK or states. Postage can not be much...

    yea think we will have to order them ourselves...many on line traders selling AM stuff and they ship to our dark corner of the world too :)

    doesn't that thing scratch the glass? Had a magnetic cleaner previously, and it scratched the tank so baaaaad! Just a thought.

    Nope, they are absolutely the best magnet and blade combos money can buy. Idol Marine (not a sponsor tho) stocks them.

    Yip, they work like a bomb.
    The blades should last a while too. You don't need to use a new one every time you use the scraper. Just make sure you rinse if off with tap water and dry it properly.

    i bought this plastic gadget that holds stanley blades.very cool.will try and connect it to a magnetic scraper
