    Anyone know where one can get Aluminum Heat sink for an LED build?

    I have used aluminum from builders. It stays cool if it has a fan on it.

    you could also use the bodies of old damaged car amps like star sound amps. Theres plenty of them lol

    You can purchase heatsinks from Aluminum trading in edenvale. They only stock 2 types. If you are looking for a few others, you can try Mantech in JHB CBD. They have a website so you can check out which heatsinks they have. www.mantech.co.za

    I imported one from Rapidled.
    Could not find what I wanted here in DBN.
    Importing was cheap - $50 for one that takes up to 24 LEDS

    Butcherman , did you import your heasinks for your build or did you manage to find local supplier?

    My first build i imported, my new build i managed to source locally. Local heat sink brings down the cost of a LED build alot!

    I think i am pretty familiar with Dallas's build as i helped him build it ;) and yes my build will be the same as his.

    Make some. Aluminium u-check channel pop riveted together. Works way cheaper
