Allien eye?

    Hi all

    Found this between my uncured LR, put it in this LR hole under the lights to see what happen. Do any one knows what it is ( just waiting for it to open and see an eye ball:p)

    looks like one polyp of a zoa. you will only know what you have if and when it opens up

    That, my friend is a "worm"
    A sipunculid marine worm to be exact.
    Common name is "PEANUT WORM"

    It prefers to be in amongst your substrate .
    Not harmful, more benefit than anything else
    They are detritivores..

    Right now 'tis not in a happy place..:p

    It's far too exposed, often as a hitchhiker on LiveRock.

    Put it into a less exposed area, under aledge of rock, in the substrate..
    y'know the kind of place which WILL have detritus settle..if you WANT it to survive.
