I notice my Alkalinity consumption rate is going thru the roof, is this normal on a SPS tank? Currently dosing 16ml every hour that gives you 384ml in 24 hour cycle…

What does you dosing equate to in dkh? I have had consumption rates of close to 1DKH per day.

Kalk will only help if evap is alot, its more of a stabilizer and small dose increaser...
    carx is your best bet

What is your magnesium level? Is there any precipitation? Do you have coraline algae

The consumption of your kh is increased ddramatically by the corraline. My suggestion is to get a couple of tuxedo urchins to reduce corraline thus reducing consumption
