    hi guys
    i got a small piece of algae from our lfs to try grow some in my sump and this stuff has gone wild.wat is it and will it be beneficial for my system?

    All algae is beneficial. It just looks ugly in our tanks.
    As long as it stays in the sump it should be good and is probably also a breeding ground for pods.
