Yes guys, the algae is actually red, with a green/blue fluorescence in them. Unfortunately, these macro algae has a very low survival rate in our tanks.

What would be the requirements for red or irredescent blue algaes to thrive in? Would it be the same nutrient rich, low kelvin lighting, that the green algaes like?
