    Hi!

I got this Bali green slimer frag three weeks ago. It had a white/dead section from the start, as it was touching some zoas or something before I got it.

I've noticed some algae growing on the white part this past few days. Well, I think it is algae? Should I just pull it off by hand?

Is the white part completely dead? Will it come back to life or how will the coral grow with this, since it is at the base?

Yes, if you can without damaging the rest of the coral.
It is dead, but the coral will spread and grow over the dead skeleton eventually. :)

I see now Tapatalk flipped the images.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Thanks Viper

How does the coral look? Happy I hope?
I don't have fancy lighting. I bought the small frag to see if it will work with the lighting I have. So far it hasn't died, which is a good sign. Hahaha

Yip, it looks fine, polyp extension looks good.
Good luck, monitor your parameters and keep them stable and you should be fine.:)
