I have some new growths in my 4 month tank.

    Maroon furry stuff
    Dark green balloons
    Red Stalks
    Bright green Stalks

Can anyone help and advise on good or bad?

Picture 4 is cyano Bacteria which is not good.
last pic is green bubble algae, which can overgrown neighbouring corals in not looked after. It starts of as one bubble and multiplies.

First is called "neomeris", or Spindleweed algae. Cool looking but can get out of control in presence of nutrients (like all algae)

second looks like a little mushroom or ric. Very cool soft coral!

Third can become a pest, not sure of name, fourth is cyanobacteria - common in a new tank and often the first sign of nutrients like phosphates. The last is green bubble algae - can become a serious pest!!

    :)

has the stuff in picture one have a bit of white to it. It might be a caterpillar weed(Neomeris annulata ). Im taking a wild guess here(so rather get answer from pro). if it is its not bad and quite cool. Difficult to maintain I here.

Take the rock out with the bubble algae and get scrape it off then pour boiling RO over that area. If the bubble bursts then it isnt good.. @Dane, I also have that spindleweed growing. DO you have a pic of it grown up? Lol I have this rock with all sorts of algae growing on it!
