    Hi Guys

I am thinking of getting a colorful algae eating machine for my preds tank.

Any suggestions on what fish would do well in the 4ft tank?

    Cheers.

Any tang from the Acanthurus genus will desimate algae. Problem with tangs is that they get very big and he will outgrow your tank. Another option is to get a dwarf angel, all are omnivorous, but might attack softies, brain or lps.
In terms of inverts, I have seen some very colourful urchins out there.

Any rabbitfish (Siganus spp). They eat a wider range of algae than surgeons.

Do you have any corals in your predator tank @HoboHoppy?

Colorful, not much, but what about a sea hare (slug)? Or will he be part of the first course on day one in a predator tank?
