The Aiptazer is an interesting aiptasia zapper we saw while walking around here at MACNA. The prototype we saw uses electric current to turn your pest aiptasia into hydrogen gas, completely irradicating them from the system. The nice thing is, the electrical voltage is never introduced to the aquarium doing all the magic inside the waterproof wand. The system allows you to vary the voltage so you can get in around sensitive corals with lethal precision. The wand can be customized to whatever length you like and can even come with a flexible tip. Intersted in one of these? They will set you back about $80 and can be ordered from The Reef Solution. One more image after the break.

Read about them before, with my luck I'll fall in my tank and bring the whole contraption in after me and get transformed into a HUGE hydrogen bubble that would explode in contact with O2 and would turn my whole neighbourhood into a pond.;)

That is a knock off of my patented device and our legal team is in the process of stopping those companies from selling them in the US
