Ive got a problem with aiptasia in my tank, can it cause any harm to corals and if so is it only certain corals that can be affected by it?

Yes, they sting so anything within it's reach will be. They can kill other corals. I think it would be safe to assume that all corals will be affected. Post a pic to confirm that it indeed is aptasia.

you need to remove then soon. the sooner the better. there are a number of methods you can use but id suggest direct injection with a thin needle and any of the commercially available products. ive used thick kalkwasser before and that worked well for me. but try get onto of them now or you will really battle later

aiptasia x them. that works well and because the formula is pink you can see that you got them. but i would kill em all asap or they will become a problem. dont poke them or try to pull em off as that will let the aiptasia release spores and you will sit with a bigger problem

Yes it is aptaisia. And get rid of it as quickly as you can!!!!
Ive lost 2 small pulsing xenia frags and a mushroom frag, the aptaisia poped up right next to the frags and grow so quick that in more than a week and a half the aptaisia was double the size of the small frag and litrally stung it too death.
